Where are the Intelligent Flow Meters installed?
The Intelligent Flow Meters are installed just below the fount head which allows for the most accurate temperature at the point of dispense.
How does the meter know the difference between beer, water and line cleaning solution?
The Meter uses the conductivity and temperature of the fluid to determine the type of liquid: Beer, Water or Line Cleaning Solution. This feature allows for automatic line cleaning notification.
How does the information get on the web?
iDraught is linked via a GSM sim card where signal allows or, if necessary, via a fixed telephone line. We use all the main telecommunications networks so the vast majority (95%) of our systems use mobile phone networks.
Where do I view my data?
All data is posted on your secure web site at www.iDraught.com. You will be issued with a secure username and password to access your information once your iDraught system is live.
How often is the data updated?
Data is regularly uploaded by the iDraught system. It is then filtered through our systems and made available on your secure web site within an hour. Delays can occur due to GSM (mobile phone) signal issues or downtime.
How do I add my Till information to compare against my beer dispense?
You can enter your daily till sales by product using the 'Till' feature on the website. Your till sales will immediately be compared to the number of drinks that have been dispensed and variance, by product, can be viewed on your yield pages.
How long does it take to install?
Installation times vary based on size of venue, number of fount heads and distance to cellar. Installations are scheduled to take place outside of your trading hours so not to disrupt trading. A site survey will determine your installation time prior to work commencing.
Does it affect the way my beer pours?
No. iDraught flowmeters are an established technology with variants used in over 20,000 venues in the UK and Europe. They do not affect the way in which beer is dispensed.
